Qatar’s new A380 has been delayed for quite a bit. In fact, Akbar Al Baker went as far as to blame Airbus three times in one interview about the Qatar A380 and their delays, and we were disappointed that Qatar weren’t adding private villas to the plane given how long they were delayed for.
Well, airliners.net contributor QatarA340 just shared some pictures of the newly arrived at Hamad International Airport A380.
One thing I noticed were the slightly unpleasant pink seats in economy and business. I thought Qatar’s 787 red-black colour scheme was awesome, as coming together it seemed spicy while not too flashy. While Qatar’s A380 pink-black colour scheme is even less flashy, it’s less spicy as well, so I’m not a fan. Both classes still look really comfortable, so I’m not that sad about it.
Otherwise, I think this is a wonderfully configured A380 (though First does look a little less private than hoped), and I really hope to see it in service soon (and possibly fly it if they start making fifth freedom routes DOH – BKK – HKG like Emirates and all others). However given the amount of time used to make it it is a little disappointing…
