Sergio Maha is the main writer and editor of Hong Kong Airline News. Sergio is an aviation enthusiast and doctor that works and lives in an apartment next to the InterContinental in Tsim Sha Tsui on Salisbury Road. He is 22 and hopes to someday travel around the world for extensive periods so he can review different hotels, though currently it’s a hard task for him as he starts his doctoring career. Having had his first flight to Moscow at eight months old, Sergio has developed a love for flying and subsequently decided to found Hong Kong Airline News to share his travel experiences (aptly named, agreed).
Alvin is the junior writer at Hong Kong Airline News. Living close to the sky at Mid-Levels, Hong Kong, Alvin writes most of the articles (as a really young writer – in his early teens – Alvin has lots more free time than Sergio does). Alvin joined the writing committee in March 2014 and won’t be revealing many details as he is, well, quite young. Not having had any professional interaction with pilot experience but having had his first flight to Brisbane at little over a year old, he loves flying too and likes staying at different hotels for the excitement for reviewing them. An avid follower of One Mile at a Time, Alvin decided not to start his own travel blog as not to get too attached to it and affect his education, but to stick to a blog that has less traffic but another writer so it’s easier to blog together instead of by himself – but given how busy Sergio usually is it is the perfect chance for him to train up for his own blog in the future (which very well could be this one).
